Genesis 1:1-11

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
2  The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep.  And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
3  Then God said, “let there be light’; and there was light.
4  And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.
5  God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night.  So the evening and the morning were the first day.
6  Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from first day.
7  Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so.
8  And God called the firmament Heaven.  So the evening and the morning were the second day.
9  Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear’; and it was so.
10  And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas.  And God saw that it was good.
11  Then God said,  “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; and it was so.

Who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.’

John 3:36  “He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

2 Corinthians 5:17  “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

Testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks, repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Hebrew 11:6  “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

Not a works, lest anyone should boast.”

Christ – His Resurrection

Luke 24:36, 39  “Now as they said these things, Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and said unto them, “Peace to you . . .

Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I myself.  Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.”

1 Corinthians 15:3, 4  “For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received:  that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,

And that He was buried and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.”

Christ – His Work

Luke 22:19, 20 “And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is MY body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”

Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying,  “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.”

1 Peter 2:24  “who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the free, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.”

Colossians 1:14  “In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.”

Isaiah 53:5, 6  “But He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities.  The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.”

Christ – His Advent

Micah 5:2  “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah,  yet out of you shall come forth to Me the One to be Ruler in Israel, whose goings forth are from of old, from everlasting.”

Matthew 1:21-23  “And she shall bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”

So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying:

“Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,”  which is translated, “God with us.”

Luke 2:10, 11 “Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.

“For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”

What the Bible Says About?

ITSELF

2 Timothy 3:15, 16 “And that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which
are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,”

Psalm 19:7 “The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord
is sure, making wise the simple.”

GOD

Psalm 99:9 “. . . for the Lord our God is Holy.”

1 Timothy 1:17 “Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise,
be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.”

Isaiah 45:21, 22 “. . . And there is no other God besides Me, a just God and a Savior;
there is none besides Me.

Look to Me, and be saved, all you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is
no other.”

MAN

Genesis 1:27 “So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created
him; male and female He created them.”

Genesis 2:7 “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into
his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.”

Isaiah 43:7 “Everyone who is called by My name, whom I have created for My
glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.”

HEAVEN

Revelation 21:3, 4 “And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying “Behold, the tabernacle
of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people.
God Himself will be with them and be their God.

And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying.  There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

Revelation 21:27 “But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes
an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of
Life.”

SIN

Romans 5:12 “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death
through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned.”

Isaiah 59:2 “But your iniquities have separated you from your God: and your sins
have hidden His Face from you, so that He will not hear.”

Roman 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

HELL

2 Thessalonians 1:8, 9 “In flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God,
and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power.”

Revelation 20:15 “And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into
the lake of fire.”
